Mike Bresner began his financial services career more than 40 years ago when he joined the Value Line organization as a securities analyst trainee. He moved up quickly in the research arena and after only three years became the managing editor of the Value Line Special Situations Service. After leaving Value Line, Bresner became the editor of the "Findings and Forecasts" research publication as well as the secretary/treasurer of its publicly traded parent corporation. Bresner has held a number of positions at brokerage firms, including retail and institutional broker positions, financial and operations principal; municipal principal; options principal; chief financial officer and president of National Securities. Bresner joined J P Turner in 2005 as executive vice president. He earned a bachelor of business administration degree in finance and investments from the City College of New York.

Lois Cohen
Joined J.P. Turner: 2005
Lois has served in a variety of positions, including account executive for Merrill Lynch, assistant vice president at SunTrust Securities and vice president of Barnett Securities. After leaving Barnett Securities, Lois formed her own broker/dealer, Miramar Securities, where she served as president and chief compliance officer.  In 2002 she ran for insurance commissioner of the state of Georgia.

Rod Kresge

Rod has served in a variety of compliance capacities for the past 13 years allowing him to develop a broad spectrum of experiences to effectively address a variety of tasks and issues. His former positions include chief compliance officer for The Malachi Group, Inc., chief compliance officer for Centennial Capital Management, Inc., operations manager for WMA Securities, Inc. and consultant for NorthStar Strategic Solutions. Rod earned a bachelor of arts degree in political science from Georgia State University and a certificate in financial planning from Oglethorpe University, Atlanta.

Herman Mannings

Herman's strong interest in stocks began while pursuing his bachelor of arts degree in psychology at Morehouse College, where he decided to use a work study check to open a brokerage account. Herman began working at a securities firm in 1999 as a customer service rep and advanced through the organization becoming a registered securities representative and a team lead. As a team lead, he was in charge of accounts for the United Kingdom, Canada and the Middle East markets. He joined J.P. Turner in 2002 serving as senior compliance and surveillance officer until 2004, when he was appointed an AVP. In addition to his role as AVP, he is the project manager for numerous organizational and technical projects including PROTEGENT and the regulatory Breakpoint Survey.

James "Jim" McGrath

Jim spent 20 of his 35 years on Wall Street at Kidder Peabody & Co., where he was a senior vice president and partner. After General Electric bought Kidder Peabody, Jim moved to Lebenthal & Co., an East Coast municipal bond dealer, where he served in several capacities, including director, executive vice president and chief operating officer.  After Lebenthal was acquired by Advest, he stayed semi-retired working part-time as a financial consultant until he joined J.P. Turner as an AVP. Jim did his undergraduate work at the City University of New York and post-graduate studies at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Oronzo Triggiano
Joined J.P. Turner: 2010
Oronzo began his career in supervision with an independent broker dealer where he spent several years as a regional supervisor resolving compliance and supervision issues. Prior to that he worked as a registered representative for Empower Financial. Oronzo has earned his Series 7, 24 and 66 registrations and a degree in finance from the University of Central Florida.
